Summer Camps feature instructive learning, playtime, chess-related activities, and snack breaks during the 3 hours of that day. Campers will have the opportunity to be recognized for their performance and good behavior, with the ability to earn prizes!

Chess Ranks Explained:
INTRO: Students who select this rank will learn how to move the pieces, understand checks and checkmates, master castling, and grasp other essential rules of the game!
PAWN: Students will delve into concepts such as pins, forks, and other basic chess tactics at this rank.
KNIGHT: Students will enhance their tactical skills through the exploration of Outposts, Batteries, Discovered Attacks, and various types of positional play.
BISHOP: Students will advance their skills by learning more sophisticated strategies and tactics.
ROOK: Targeted at students with a US Chess Rating of 650-999, this rank explores further intricacies of the game.
QUEEN: Reserved for students with a US Chess Rating of 1000 and above, this rank delves into advanced levels of chess play.
Refunds: Full camp refunds are available until Thursday at 11:59 pm, before the camp week. We reserve the right to dismiss students from camp due to repeated disruptive behavior, and in such cases, refunds will not be issued.
