Guaranteed Prizes:
Open | 30% of Total Open Section Entries (20% for 1st, 10% for 2nd)
U1400 | Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd
U800 | Medals 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Sections are automatically assigned based on your US Chess monthly rating. Unrated players (or those with invalid/mistyped US Chess IDs) are automatically placed in the lowest section. If you have a valid reason to compete in a section higher than what your monthly rating suggests (e.g., a player with a live rating higher than the threshold for the next section, or an unrated player who is demonstrably stronger than the lowest section, etc.), please provide details in the signup form. The final decision regarding section placement is at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

Tournament Policies:
Registration Cutoff (Online and In-Person): 1:45pm
All registrations made after 1:45pm will be given a 1st round bye. No exceptions.
Refunds: A player can receive a refund until an hour before the tournament start time. Players that no-show do not receive a refund.
Playing Up: Players can play up to the next section if their monthly US Chess Rating is within 150 points of the next section.
