Dear TCC Chess Community,

We are thrilled to share exciting news with you all: The Texas Chess Center is expanding to Houston, Texas, in early Spring 2025! This marks a monumental milestone in our mission to grow the game of chess across the state and beyond.

As part of this expansion, we are excited to announce that one of our owners, David Gaston, will be relocating to Houston to oversee and lead the development of this new division. David has been an integral part of our success at the Texas Chess Center, and we are confident that his leadership, experience, and passion for chess will help us create another vibrant hub for players of all ages and skill levels in Houston.

Our new location will offer the same high-quality training, events, and community engagement that have made the Texas Chess Center a cornerstone of the chess community. We look forward to providing more opportunities for players in Houston to hone their skills, connect with others, and enjoy the game we all love.
