Please meet "Coach Andrew," a devoted chess enthusiast who discovered his love for the game early in life from playing with his mom around the kitchen table.

Since then Coach Andrew has procured years of experience in coaching and a reputation for excellence due to his responsible and reliable nature. Andrew also streams chess on Twitch so he is no stranger to making Chess concepts fun and approachable for players of all levels!

Though he still has a ways to go Coach Andrew has a lifelong goal of gaining his own Chess title; and he hopes that each of his students will join him in pursuing the prestigious title of Chess Master at some point in their life. Aside from Chess Coach Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a regular at our Plano campus where he teaches club group classes and plays in tournaments regularly.

Under Coach Andrew's tutelage students can enhance their chess skills and develop a deeper appreciation for the game. Coach Andrew makes it a priority to work closely with each student and develop repertoire personalized to them and help students to develop their own "flavor" of chess and by extension deepen their joy for the game.
